91401 Invisalign
91407 Invisalign is a great way for those seeking to have their teeth aligned but without traditional braces put in. Invisalign moves the teeth gently in place and doesn’t use the unsightly hardware and brackets that traditional braces use. The system uses a series of clear plastic aligners fitted to the patient’s teeth using a computer generated layout of the oral structure. We then create a series of aligners that will be used over the course of treatment. The entire process takes about a year, or the same amount of time as regular braces. Both types of braces usually have an adjustment period, and then about a year or so until the final alignment is finished.
After the initial set, every two weeks a new set of aligners is given. Over time and in between sets, the teeth are moved gently into place. 91401 Invisalign braces can be taken out for brushing, flossing, eating and special occasions like weddings and pictures. Many patients are very happy with Invisalign, which is virtually invisible to other people once placed in the mouth.
91401 Invisalign also makes it easier to clean and brush teeth than with regular braces, which results in a healthier mouth. Regular braces can trap food and other debris inside the braces, between teeth and gums, and making it hard to extract the food out from between the teeth. This can result in cavities or tooth decay. Depending on the severity of alignment needed and length of time until alignment, Invisalign may take about a year.
